About the Band
The American Patriots Jazz Orchestra is a combined gathering of premier military musicians who have represented the best of our armed forces throughout America, Desert Storm, and the world.
The performing musicians of the American Patriots Jazz Orchestra are mostly former and active members of the United States Armed Forces. With Colorado Springs, Colorado, the home of the Air Force Academy, most members were assigned to the Air Force Academy Band and members of the prestigious Falconnairs, the sister organization to the World Famous Airmen of Note in Washington, D.C.
Through the Wounded Warrior Program, these musicians continue their dedication to our country by supporting service men and women in their time of need.
During and prior to their military assignment, the band and vocal members have performed with such greats as The Temptations, The Four Freshmen, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Wayne Newton, Sarah Vaughan, Mel Torme, The Jimmy Dorsey Band, Doc Severenson, Nelson Riddle, Louis Belson, and Bob Hope.
